Thank you to all who exercised their right to vote and especially to those who overwhelming voted for our campaign on Monday. We are humbled and honored by your support and realize the significance of the challenges we now face.

Together we have a historic opportunity to change the way Naugatuck does business, open our government to all our citizens, and build partnerships to plan for our future. While there are no easy answers and one person alone can not solve all our problems, we can come together to make Naugatuck the community we always hoped it would be.

Thank you also to Mayor Mike Bronko for running a positive, issue-oriented campaign. Mayor Mike has worked hard for Naugatuck over the past two years and we should be grateful for his contributions to our community. He is also a devoted husband, and outstanding father to four fantastic young men.

Congratulations to all candidates who won election last night. Democrats came together to elect the entire slate of candidates for the first time in many years. While last night was a great victory for “Team Mezzo”, we move forward today as “Team Naugatuck” – Democrats, Republicans, Unaffiliated voters; people of all walks of life and thought – working together for the Borough which we all love.
