Blight Ordinance Meeting on Tuesday (8/17/2010)

The Board of Mayor and Burgesses will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, beginning at 7:00 PM in the Hall of Burgesses at town hall.  Burgesses will have an opportunity to discuss the most recent draft of the proposed Blight Ordinance, which may be viewed here.  Public comment from Borough residents and/or taxpayers will be allowed and is encouraged.

    I wish i knew about this meeting because we the tax payers are being played in the Curtiss street area due to a public lawyer and his property. We the neighbors in this area have call the board of zoning many times and all they did is have this person clean the garbage but the eye sore of the three cars that have been parked there for 9 yrs hasn’t changed. We don’t know how many more people we have to contact.
