Changes to Trash and Recycling Collection Schedule – 12/27/2010

Due to on-going efforts to respond to Winter Storm Adrianne, the Naugatuck Department of Public Works (“DPW”) has canceled trash and recycling collection for today, Monday, December 27, 2010.  This will result in the following changes for this week only:

• Regular Monday collection will be Tuesday, December 28, 2010;
• Regular Tuesday collection will be Wednesday, December 29, 2010;
• Regular Wednesday collection will be Thursday, December 30, 2010;
• Regular Thursday collection will be Friday, December 31, 2010; and
• Regular Friday collection will be Sunday, January 2, 2011.

The regular trash and recycling collection schedule will  resume on Monday, January 3, 2011.  Residents are asked to remove any remaining snow from inside and around collection containers and refrain from stacking the containers on top of snow banks.  The continued cooperation of residents during Storm Adrianne is greatly appreciated.
