Upon today’s (2/8/2011) completion of snow removal from the roofs at the Naugatuck Police Station and the gymnasium at Hop Brook Elementary School, the state of emergency declaration of Thursday, February 3, 2011, shall be revoked.  Normal bidding procedures and requirements shall be restored.  The indefinite parking ban shall remain in effect.

Thank you to all those involved who helped remove snow and ice from the roofs of Naugatuck’s schools and other municipal buildings.  Your work has helped protect millions of dollars worth of assets, but more importantly ensured the safety of students and employees who occupy these buildings on a daily basis.
